Anyways.. that was our exciting adventure today (: Other than that, we went to a place called "Deaf and Blind school" They let kids play on the swings and play grounds during the weekends when class isn't in session, so we usually take Cooper and my niece over there to have some fun! Which by the way, Cooper is totally obsessed with swinging and just loves it!
Also I wanted to mention I purchased Cooper's first iron on for his birthday! It's totally adorable and I can't wait till it gets here. I also bought him his first iron on for Christmas which is a tie! I am hoping these iron on's are easy to do because I have never done them before and I would hate to mess this up. I heard they are sew-able so if that's the case that may be better.
This is his birthday iron on which I thought went perfect since he is having a Fall/Owl theme. We are incorporating candy corns in with this to make that great fall feeling! The lady at Etsy personalized this for me for just an extra buck! So the whole thing just ended up costing me $8.00 which was fantastic considering it has their name personalized on it! And she is super nice so if you are interested in this here is the link to purchase! She also makes many more iron on's!
And this is the Christmas iron on:
I love how he can wear it just besides Christmas too. I like stuff that he can wear many other times than just once to get the money's worth out of it! These are super cheap on Etsy for $1.95 and shipping makes it $3!! Both of these are suppose to come this week so I am so excited to receive them, and I will post a picture of how they come out! Here is the link to the Christmas tie!
I am still currently looking for some more stuff for his birthday but I did manage to finally figure out the kids party favors which will be home made candy corn crayons! Super super easy and fun! Right now I am on a search around the house for broken crayons! You can find the "how to" for this on Pinterest but basically you just take whatever crayon you prefer, it's probably best to stick to one kind since some tend to not write as well as others.. which for this I am sticking to Crayola. Anyways, you take the wrapper off the crayon, break them into smaller pieces, put them in whatever baking pan you prefer.. I think the temp is somewhere in between 300-350? Just enough to completely melt them. And once they are melted, take them out of the over, let them sit and cool off COMPLETELY over night until hardened, take them out and enjoy your crayon!! So easy and fun for the kids. And whatever theme you choose just pick out a pan you prefer to make the crayons in! For this I am doing candy corn pans! So these will be huge crayons that will last a while (:
Also wanted to mention I chose his cake topper (Pom pom orange cake topper on Etsy) and his high chair banner on Etsy which a lady is personalizing for me! I will post picture once it all comes!
And of course I can't leave without showing off some cute photos of Cooper today!
And he made his sheep face today in Sunday school! Looks like he is saying "Baaaa" in this photo!
I love him to the moon and back! 14 more days till you are 11 months! He is incredibly smart and super sweet. I hope everyone had a fantastic Sunday!
