Must have baby registry items!

I thought today I would make this blog on some must have baby registry items!

1. Rock and play!
I SERIOUSLY couldn't of survived without this thing. We have gotten so much use out of it! They hold up to 25 pounds. They are great if your kind of iffy about putting the baby in the crib as a newborn and you want the baby right beside you, then later on transition to a crib. They are really easy to carry around because they fold and they are light weight. They have a ton of these, this particular one is found at Target.

2.  Buggy/ high chair cover
We love ours! They are used for buggy's/ high chairs and can also be used for certain types of swings for babies. This one can be found on Etsy!

3. Boppy pillow
Life saver, especially if you plan on breastfeeding! Even if you don't, they are great to have to lay baby on for feedings, or to even prop them up on. This can be found on Target.

4. Swing/bouncy chair in one!
These are by 4moms! They have awesome products. This is a bouncy/swing in one.
This one is found at Target.

5.  Play mat!
I am just going to say, that is REALLY pays to buy a great quality play mat. Some of the cheaper ones aren't worth the money and the legs above them don't stand good and they always fall down! This one comes with a tummy time smaller version of a boppy (what I call it) and has the toys and mat. I love owls so I picked this for my favorite! This is found at Target.

6. Swaddle blanket!

These are good especially if you have a winter baby these are great to have. My son was born close to winter so these were amazing. You can also get the zip ones which I usually used.
You can buy these at buybuybaby.

7. Humidifier!
These are great to have and most everyone recommends them. You can purchase these at Target.

8. Car seat!
This is a Peg Perego car seat. You can buy these at buybuy baby!
I will tell you this, I made the mistake of getting a "Babytrend" car seat/stroller combo, and it was terrible! The straps on the infant car seat always got twisted, and also the stroller is very hard to fold up. I recently found out how to do it! So it really pays to be a great quality stroller/car seat.

9. Stroller
City mini baby jogger! These are really nice strollers and a lot better than the babytrends! (Like I stated above, you get what you pay for!) And you can buy these at Buybuybaby like the car seat!

10. Pack and play
Pack and play by four moms! These are so great. It really pays to have a good pack and play, especially if you plan on using it a lot. You can purchase these at Buybuybaby, and they also have that at Amazon as well.

11. Baby Carrier!
ERGObaby carrier! The weight limit on this is 7-45 pounds. However, with a bigger baby I do prefer a wrap instead of a carrier. But every mom is different! This is a great carrier though, and holds up to a lot so it is worth the money! You can buy these at Buybuybaby

12. Baby wipes
All moms choose differently on this, but seriously put BABY WIPES AND DIAPERS on your list!!
You can never get enough!
I choose Seventh Generation just because they are free of all harsh chemicals, and my son has VERY sensitive skin. We have been through a lot of different diapers/wipes and these seem to work the best. They are fragrance and chlorine free! Also, I LOVE Honest Company diapers and wipes as well. (Will post link) They are free of chemicals as well, and also you get to pick your designs you want for your diapers! Most people choose cloth as well, and those are great for babies with sensitive skin (:
And you can buy these only in certain stores where I live: Publix, Target, and Whole foods. You can probably order online at Amazon or somewhere but only certain places sell them.

13. Diapers
Once again, these are the Seventh Generation diapers. Only sold in certain places list above!

14. Paci/Paci clip

Nuk Paci! My son's favorite. At first, I did have him on Gumdrop paci. That is the bottles he was taking as well. But later on he became liking Nuks! And you can buy these just about anywhere in the stores.
Now for the clips.. This is going to sound a little strange, but I am very particular with my paci clips I buy. I once bought a home made paci clip from Etsy, it was all cute, had an owl and everything on it, but it didn't work worth a doodle! It clipped for a few days, I thought it was a very secure clip but it wasn't. ): It was so cute, I was very bummed about it! So now I try to stick to one brand which would be Gumdrop paci clips! They work the best, very secure and stay on great. Please, if you have a baby who loves a paci , paci clips will be your best friend! They keep them off the floor away from germs! You can buy these anywhere as well just like the NUK paci.

15. High chair
Graco 4 in 1 high chair! I have a Graco and they are awesome! You can buy these at Buybuybaby.
This is the exact brand, just different covers!

16. Nursing/bottle feeding
I am going to put all feeding supplies HERE, and I will explain each and post link!
1. Bottles:
These are Gumdrop bottles. We found this is what worked best for us! You can find these at Wal-Mart, Target, or anywhere really! Just like the Gum drop paci.

2. Breast pumps:
Medela breast pump. Weather there is a reason your exclusively pumping or just your personal preference I have heard these are great! I formula feed my son, so I wouldn't know too much about breast feeding but you can purchase these at Buybuybaby as well!
I also wanted to mention, even if you don't breastfeed please register for some breast pads! Because they are lifesavers and your going to need them. I used Lansinoh nursing pads and they worked great.

3. Bibs:
I personally love bibs from Etsy just because they have home made ones, better quality and also you can personalize them! There are tons of bibs out there though that are great. Here is one from Etsy that I love.
Personalized bibs! Etsy is the place to go (: I always like the button bibs better though just because the Velcro gets itchy and my son is allergic to the Velcro in them.

4. Burp cloth:
Same goes for the burp cloth. I love shopping on Etsy for those as well.
Here are some pretty Chevron ones.
And Etsy has like thousands of pages of bibs/burp cloths so have fun looking, it's addicting (:

5. Baby food maker:
This is the baby bullet, just wanted to post for the mama's who plan on making their babies own baby food! You can buy these anywhere really but here is a post on Buybuybaby.

6. Drying rack:
Grass drying rack! These are just much more better than using a towel to set it out on. I also heard NUK came out with their new one which I am sure is great as well! You can get these at Buybuybaby.
So that is all the useful feeding supplies!

17. Health and Safety
Thermometer! We have something similar to this with exchangeable parts. I love how it has the different parts if you need to do one in the mouth, and then use another for under the arm. Buy these at Buybuybaby.

18. Bath
I recently switched to Burt's Bees shampoo/body wash! It is a two in one but for my sons body wash I use something different. This is great!! Before I was using Johnson and it was causing my son to break out, plus he is Eczema so I wanted something that was for more sensitive skin and so far this works great.
You can also buy this anywhere from Target, Whole foods, etc.
19. Soap
Basis soap! For babies with sensitive skin. My grandma use to work in the NICU and she said this is what they used on all the preemie babies, so I took her advice and so far so good! He it fragrance free and works well. You can only purchase this at Wal-Mart.

20. Baby bath tub
I have heard great reviews on this Puj tub! Just folds up very easily. You can purchase these on Amazon. Also, it pays to have a great baby bath too! A lot are very slippery and make the baby very cold when you put water on them. I try to stay away from the ones with nets in the bottom because those tend to get very cold!

21. Fan
Most people wouldn't even think to get a fan, but this is very important to have! My son has always slept with one, not one that is going to blast air directly on the baby, but something small you can set up and keep some cool air circulating in the room. It helps regulate babies body temperature. So these are must haves! You can purchase these on Amazon.

22. Changing pad
These can be purchased anywhere from Babies R Us, Amazon, Target, etc.
Very nice to have and really makes diaper changes easier.

23. Nap nanny!

I have heard these are really awesome! I really just want to buy one myself (haha)
Babies love to feel secure and this looks like something that would make them feel warm and safe, kind of like the rock and play listed in number one! You can buy these just about anywhere and they come in all different colors!
24. Bumbo!
Some people choose to put these on their registry , others wait a while since baby will be older and use this.
I would really get the one with the safety strap in it. These can be purchased anywhere but here is one from Buybuybaby.

25. Clothing:
Now this is going to be all clothing, (one pieces, socks, hats, etc)
So I will post photo and then post link!

1. Sleepers and sleep bags:

First off, you are going to want a good many of these! Your newborn will more than likely be staying in these a good bit. I love the sleep bags. Sleepers are great, something with the feeties in them because if your baby is like Cooper and has small feet you aren't going to be able to put socks on them for a while! So sleepers are always good to have. And these can be found on www.carters.com In the neutral gender section or you can find whatever clothing for the gender on there!

2. Cap, mittens, and booties:

From Carters online once again! You are going to want a few caps, lots of socks, and about 3 pairs of mittens! My son never used mittens much because he never really had the problem scratching his face, but keep 3 on hand just incase!

3. Body suits:

The body suits are whichever you prefer of course. But you are going to need a few! I love Carters clothing, and they have some great stuff for good prices!
And of course your going to need pants!

26. Diaper Bag
This is a multi pocket tote diaper bag from Carters online. You will want to include this! Whatever you choose just make sure it is something with lots of room, because your going to need it (:

Alright! Well I am done(: These are just some basic stuff! Of course there is tons more, such as blankets, crib sheets, decor for the nursery, head bands for girls, jumperoos for later on! This is just some basic stuff that I find very helpful. As a first time mom, we can all buy stuff that isn't so useful, so I hope this helps! I am not an expert, but if you have any questions as to where I got anything or have any suggestions on anything let me know (: I hope this helps because it took me FOREVER (;
